AcuTherapy Clinics provides acupuncture, Traditional Chinese Medicine, and medical massage for patients from the Kaimuki neighborhood of Honolulu. Our Liliha clinic is approximately 15 minutes from Kaimuki via Waialae Avenue and the H-1, with on-site parking at our Liliha location.
Kaimuki is one of Honolulu’s most eclectic and livable neighborhoods—a mix of long-time local families, young professionals, and a thriving restaurant and retail scene. Many of our Kaimuki-area patients are restaurant workers, baristas, and small business owners dealing with the physical demands of service work: lower back strain from long shifts, neck and shoulder tension from kitchen and counter work, and wrist and hand issues from repetitive tasks. We also see Kaimuki residents who work downtown or in corporate settings with postural and stress-related complaints, as well as athletes from the nearby Waialae Golf Course and recreational sports community.
We use the CenterGy (Synergies) constitutional diagnostic system to identify the specific root pattern behind each patient’s condition. For Kaimuki’s working population, we frequently address patterns of Qi stagnation and Liver imbalance driving stress and tension, combined with local acupuncture and massage for structural relief.
